Privacy Policy

Effective August 2, 2026 • Version 2026-08-02

This Privacy Policy describes how Ausinly (“Ausinly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile applications, services, and websites.

1

Overview

Ausinly is a care coordination platform that connects Care Seekers with verified Companions for non-emergency support. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Non-Emergency & HIPAA Notice: Ausinly is not a healthcare provider and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. Do not use the Services to transmit protected health information that requires HIPAA protections.

2

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide safe, reliable care connections:

  • Account details: Name, email address, phone number, hashed password, date of birth, and role (Care Seeker, Companion, or Business).
  • Profile information: Bio, care needs, languages, workplace, school or district, and care experience.
  • Verification data (Trust Stack): Government-issued photo ID, selfie matching, employer verification, and professional credentials.
  • Session & request information: Scheduled times, care categories, safety checklists, and session coordination notes.
  • Messaging records: End-to-end encrypted chat records stored solely for delivery and safety incident reviews.
  • Location information: Approximate or precise location collected exclusively when location sharing is active during live sessions.
  • Payment details: Billing details securely processed via certified third-party payment providers (Ausinly does not store raw credit card numbers).
  • Device & diagnostic logs: IP address, device type, app version, and crash diagnostics.
3

How We Use Your Information

We use information solely to deliver and protect our community services:

  • Create and manage your verified account and care circles.
  • Match Care Seekers with qualified, available, and verified Companions.
  • Operate deterministic Shared Context matching (workplace, school district, languages) without algorithmic tracking or behavioral profiling.
  • Operate the Trust Stack: verify identity, employment, and credentials.
  • Facilitate encrypted communication, live safety checklists, and emergency escalation paths.
  • Prevent fraud, maintain community standards, and enforce zero-tolerance safety policies.
4

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only in the specific operational contexts below:

  • With session participants: Confirmed parties view the minimum necessary details (first name, verification badges, session location).
  • With verified service providers: Secure payment processing, identity verification, and encrypted cloud infrastructure.
  • For safety and compliance: When required by law or to protect user safety during active emergency escalations.
5

Verification & Sensitive Information

Trust Stack verification documents are encrypted at rest and accessed only by authorized safety reviewers. Shared Context never ranks or matches members based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

6

Messaging & Location Privacy

Direct messages between members are end-to-end encrypted. Location tracking is 100% opt-in and restricted exclusively to active session safety tools.

7

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account information only as long as needed to maintain your circle. When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently scrubbed or de-identified within a reasonable timeframe.

8

Security Safeguards

Ausinly employs multi-layer technical and physical safeguards, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, strict role-based access controls, and device-level screen protection.

9

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California Consumer Rights: Under California law, residents have the right to:

  • Know & Access: Request details on personal information categories collected, sources, and third parties.
  • Delete: Request complete deletion of your personal data.
  • Correct: Request corrections to inaccurate information.
  • Non-Discrimination: Enjoy equal pricing and services regardless of exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise your California privacy rights, email our privacy team at support@ausinly.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request”.
